For your unconditional affection & friendship

Many of us enjoy the companionship of pets. In fact, according to a 2021-2022 National Pet Products Association about 70% or 90.5 million families own a pet.

These animals don't ask for much—just a short list of basics such as food, shelter, veterinary care, a pet license, and, of course, our companionship.

Pets offer far more in return, teaching us about love, improving our emotional and physical health, and providing us with unconditional affection and friendship.

Precious Paws, Humane Society of Chisholm has dogs and cats available for foster and adoption.

The Chisholm ordinance requires all dogs and cats to be licensed. Licenses may be purchased at Chisholm City Hall on Monday–Friday from 7:00 am–4:00 pm. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required.  The cost is $5.00 for spayed or neutered pets.  The cost is $10.00 if not spayed or neutered.

*It is that time of year when the snow is melting and dog poop starts to smell up the neighborhood.  Please clean it up now because neighbors will be calling the police department on those who do not clean up after their dog.  Saving money not having to pay a fine is great too.
