The City of Chisholm and Hibbing utilize the services of Saint Louis County to perform all the functions of the city assessor.

It is the (Saint Louis County Assessor's) responsibility to appraise all properties within the city and process homestead credits.

The City Council of Chisholm will conduct the annual "Board of Appeal & Equalization" meeting during April-May of each year.

Saint Louis County maintains the Assessor's Office in Hibbing, Minnesota and will serve as the contact point for the City of Chisholm.
