ADOPT AN AREA
The ‘Adopt an Area’ program empowers individuals, businesses, and organizations to take care of Chisholm’s public spaces. By committing to two years of maintenance, volunteers help preserve our parks, trails, and neighborhoods for everyone to enjoy.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Choose an area to adopt
Step 2: Commit to keeping it clean and beautiful for two years
Step 3: Receive support and recognition from the City
Adopting individuals and organizations are required to complete an application and liability waiver for each area. If the individual or organization is unable to keep their adoption commitment, the area is made available to others. Adopted Areas can be renewed before their area is placed for adoption.
