Chisholm Youth Soccer
Games & Divisions
The City of Chisholm hosts and organizes Youth Soccer League Games played primarily against Nashwauk/Keewatin. The game/scrimmage schedule will be determined when teams are selected in late March. The league is a co-ed rec league.
The following criteria are based on the grades the child is currently in (2025-2026):
U6 - Children in grades Pre-K & Kindergarten (apx. ages 4-6)
U8 - Children in grades 1 & 2 (apx. ages 6-8)
U10 - Children in grades 3 & 4 (apx. ages 8-10)
U12 - Children in grades 5,6, & 7 (apx. ages 10-12); 7th graders must be 12 & under by 6/15/26 to be eligible
All games are played in Hibbing or Keewatin. Games/scrimmages in Keewatin/Hibbing are on Mondays and Saturdays. Some games may be played in Chisholm.
All divisions have some games on Saturdays. Schedules may be altered due to scheduling conflicts, rain dates, and make-up games. The schedule will be released in mid-April, exact date TBD. We will post online and send out game schedules once we have those finalized.
The season is expected to go from April 20th (practices begin) to June 6th, 2026.

Training for Coaches & Parents
Much emphasis has been placed on concussion awareness and training. This LINK is a short training session for concussion awareness. Coaches must view this training video before coaching (every 3 years) and return the completion certificate to the Parks & Rec Department. It is strongly advised that all parents take this 20-minute training.
AYSA Training Option #2 is also required of all coaches.
